This time I went to the center of Ljubljana with my bicycle to meet a great musician, George Balan. He comes from Romania, Bucharest, and he plays a special instrument called cimbalom. This is his instrument from childhood and his family.
"This is my bread," he says.
He plays it with different musicians all over Romania and he also comes to Slovenia to play it on the street.
How do people react when they hear his music? You can find out in this video, where you will also hear this special instrument with a special sound and special interpretation of some well known songs.
This time I've interviewed Thomas Schauffert, a musician from Switzerland. He's been on the music journey for more than 35 years. He started with pop and country music and then around 10 years ago he changed his perspective about music. He got some deep insights about how the music can be created and he realised that music should not be so money driven.
Now he is coming out with a new solo album - best romantic piano solo album, full of beautiful songs that dive me personally into a deep meditation and very relaxed feeling. I hope you will feel this magic of his instrumental music and also enjoy this gift of his creation.
